Hi, I’m EMMA — introvert, sentimental party nerd, gentle hype-woman, and mom.

As a professional event planner, I  spent years planning high-budget, beautiful, magazine-perfect weddings and events I dreaded attending (noise, timelines, impress the guests, endless small talk—hard pass). Then I rediscovered a photo of my grandparents’ Depression-era picnic wedding: sheet cake, quilts on the grass, faces glowing like they’d invented joy. That picture whispered “Presence beats performance,” and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.

I practice what I teach. Around here, a Tuesday-night s’mores roast with my twelve-year-old son Milo is “party enough”—we call it Slow Party S’mores O’Clock, and the joy is off the charts.

Today I help introverts craft celebrations that feel like candlelight, homemade cake, and that aaahhh moment when the last guest leaves and you’re still smiling.
