Hi, I’m EMMA

introvert, sentimental party nerd, gentle hype-woman, and mom.

Midwest born, Pacific Northwest living; professional event planner and certified life coach with a wild - and surprising - ride as an Etsy + social media darling designing celebration goods… before pressing pause to be home with my son.

Here’s the twist: big parties never felt fun to me. Sirens at birthday restaurants? Tears. Surprise toasts? Hard pass. But meaningful moments, celebrating people, creating memories that feel like home—that’s my whole heart.

A core memory: my Depression-era grandparents’ wedding pic. A plain white sheet cake, sliced by hand, guests on picnic blankets under a tree, everyone beaming. That picture lives rent-free in my mind and guides everything I do.

Mothering tuned my senses even more. I noticed how naturally I connected with my son—how he relaxed with quiet rituals, how we felt most ourselves in small, cozy moments. Following that connection became my compass: choose comfort over spectacle, presence over performance, rhythm over “should.” After becoming a mom, I gave myself permission to celebrate in a way that felt true to us—quiet, cozy, and deeply personal—and I learned to follow my kid’s rhythm instead of the rulebook.

Slow Party Co is the love child of all of that: years of professional planning, life-coaching tools, and a lifelong devotion to the tender side of celebration. Think feeling-first planning, fewer shoulds, more soul. I help you mark what matters—without the noise.

What I Believe

  • You don’t have to throw a big party to honor a big moment.

  • Comfort, meaning, and memory beat spectacle every time.

  • The best plans begin with how you want the day to feel.

  • Small can be sacred. Simple can be stunning.

Street Cred
(the cozy kind)

  • Professional Event Planner

  • Certified Life Coach

  • Former celebration-goods designer (Etsy-era glitter in my veins). Work featured in Kate Spade Style, BRIDES Magazine, OhJoy!, Sweet Paul Magazine, Style Me Pretty, and more.

  • Empathic, intuitive, sensitive, nostalgic—gentle and fierce

  • Holiday superfan. (Oh my gawd, do I love the holidays.)

If You’re My People, You Might…

  • Cry at parades because joy is contagious.

  • Prefer candlelight to confetti cannons. Depending on the day.

  • Want your celebration to feel like your favorite sweater: comfortable, lovely, you.

  • Celebrate cancelled plans.

  • Opt for a night in vs a night out.

If “traditional party” makes you want to hide in the kitchen, you’re in the right place. I’m here to help you plan the kind of gathering that feels like home—quiet, cozy, meaningful, unforgettable.

Craving that
